LHS Graduate to Attend Global Forum on International Relations, Diplomacy in China

Louisiana wetlands activist and recent Lafayette High School graduate Dillon Breaux will travel to China in June to attend the 2014 Envision Global Forum on International Relations & Diplomacy. Breaux will join other high-achieving scholars in Beijing, Xi'an, and Shanghai, as they explore the unique people, places, and perspectives of China.

While in China, Breaux will have special access to foreign officials and other experts currently shaping the future of international relations and diplomacy. In this highly interactive cultural experience, he will also have the opportunity to connect with other international students committed to improving global relations. The Global Forum on International Relations & Diplomacy is one of several programs offered by Envision, an experiential education organization dedicated to helping students succeed in college and beyond by developing leadership, scholarship, and career skills.

Dillon Breaux's visit to China will precede educational trips to Oxford, London and Normandy, Paris for Student Leadership University's leadership-training programs. He plans to attend college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this fall.
