LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 58-year-old Lake Charles man on allegations that he repeatedly raped a 16-year-old girl who had run away from home.
The American Press reports Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputies arrested Steve Guillory after a monthlong investigation and charged him with forcible rape and carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
On June 21, the Iowa Police Department located the alleged victim, who had been missing for three weeks. The girl told detectives Guillory allowed her to stay in his home and forced her to have sex with him more than once.
State District Judge Ron Ware set Guillory's bond at $30,000.
It was unclear whether Guillory has an attorney.
