Lawsuit Filed Against Diocese of Lafayette

A Lafayette woman has filed a lawsuit against the Diocese of Lafayette. KATC has learned a woman has accused a St. John's Cathedral employee of sexual harassment.
As a matter of policy, the diocese would not comment on specifics regarding the lawsuit, but attorney Troy Broussard, who represents the Diocese of Lafayette said:
"We are confident that once all the evidence is brought to light, before the court that the lawsuit against the diocese will be dismissed."
