Late Night Fire in Scott

A home sustains major damage in Scott after a fire.
The flames broke out around ten o'clock Monday night in the 100 block of Tressie Street. Flames consumed the porch and outdoor kitchen area of the structure, which sustained substantial damage.
Fire units from Duson and Judice assisted in extinguishing the blaze, and the fire was put out in about six minutes.
There were no injuries at the time of the blaze. The remaining structure received no damage and the fire is still under investigation.
