Last Body of Missing Boaters Recovered

The St. Mary Parish Coroner's Office confirms to KATC that the body of a female boater that went missing Saturday has been recovered.

Agents from several law enforcement agencies resumed their search around 7 o'clock Sunday morning on Bayou Boeuf in Amelia. The Coroner says around 7:45 Sunday morning that 49 year old Linda Fontain's body was recovered near the Amelia Belle Casino where the boat she was on yesterday flipped and sank.

In all, three people were on the boat one was wearing a life-vest which saved him, and 44 year old Huey Comeaux Junior of Amelia died in the incident and his body was recovered yesterday.

We did reach out to Wildlife and Fisheries who is heading the investigation, but they said "We cannot give you any details till Monday."
