LAFAYETTE, LA - LARC's Acadian Village will host the Last Days of Summer Carnival fundraiser on September 1, 2012 to benefit persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Carnival is a first-time fundraiser for the Lafayette ARC (LARC) and will feature carnival rides, games, prizes, fun jumps, magic shows, pony rides, balloon artists, face painting, car bash, food, live entertainment, and more.
"This event will be a great time for families looking to get out and about for Labor Day weekend," said Megan Morris, Director of LARC's Acadian Village. "Community sponsors have been so generous and helped us to have this event. If you enjoy our Christmas festival, you will certainly have fun at the village for our Carnival."
All proceeds will directly benefit LARC's Acadian Village and the residential, vocational, and new Lemarie Lifestyles Center programs at LARC.
The event is open from 10:00am-8:00pm. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children, and children 4 and under free. For more information call 337-981-2364 or visit www.acadianvillage.org.
