Landry Responds to President's Budget

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Jeff Landry (Republican, New Iberia) released the following statement in response to President Obama's proposed 2012 budget submitted to Congress today:
"Once again, the President has failed to listen to the American people. We cannot afford his reckless $3.8 trillion spending of our hard-earned money. We cannot afford his $1.6 trillion tax hike on families, small businesses, and job creators. And we cannot afford his record third straight trillion dollar deficit... Standing up for my constituents and the American taxpayers, I will work with my colleagues to pass a budget that reduces spending, lowers taxes, and cuts our debt."
