On May 16th, 2012 there were 2 arrest made by the Lake Charles Police Department's Sex Offender Registration Division. Cpl Michael Nicosia and Cpl Jeffery Atkinson arrested Michele Alonzo and Terrance Randall Washington for failure to register as sex offenders.
Michele Alonzo, 45 yoa, was convicted of three counts of crimes against nature. This crime holds a mandatory registration time of 15 years with the Lake Charles Police Department. She was located at 100 North Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles, and arrested for a second offense of failure to resister as a sex offender in addition to a violation with her sex offender identification card. Alonzo's bond is at $50,000 set by Judge Clayton Davis.
Terrance Randall Washington, 42 yoa, was at the office of Lake Charles Police Department's Sex Offenders Division when he was arrested for violation of LARS 40:1321.J.1- SEX Offender ID must be carried. This arrested was a result of providing false information about possessing a sex offenders identification card. Washington was convicted in 1990 for LARS 14:42.1 Forcible Rape of a 28 year old Lake Charles woman. This was Washington's 2nd offense. In 2011 he was arrested for not having a Louisiana sex offender identification and for failure to register as a sex offender. Washington's bond was set at $30,000.00 by Judge C. Davis.
After booking, Alonzo and Washington were released to the Calcasieu Parish
Correctional Center for incarceration.
