Lake Charles Murder Arrest

A Lake Charles man has allegedly confessed to beating and choking his girlfriend, before leaving her body in a ditch. Thursday, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to Friesen Road, just east of Tom Hebert Road in Lake Charles. There they found a body in a ditch, identified as 48-year-old Mychele Cleaver. Deputies say Cleaver had sustained trauma to the head.
47-year-old Dwayne Fox was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 2nd degree murder.
