LAFAYETTE, LA - December 5, 2012 - FiberCorps announces Strategic Happy Hour 2012, a networking and mingling opportunity for community members to learn about how Lafayette is continually progressing towards the goal of becoming a leading city for innovation in healthcare.
Attendees will hear from representatives from LUS Fiber, Lafayette General Medical Center and the Center for Business and Information Technology about how each organization will continue efforts to help our community be the best pilot site for the Louisiana Health Information Exchange.
This event is the last in our successful series for this year. #Strategic2012 was proceeded by our brainstorming session, #IgniteIdeation2012 in August and #campfiber2012 in November, which focused on how we could prevent childhood obesity and provide our children with a healthy future.
Jefferson Street Pub, located at 500 Jefferson Street, Lafayette, LA, is hosting the event which will take place on Tuesday, December 18 and will be providing appetizers. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 6:00 p.m. A cash bar will be available.
Strategic Happy Hour is brought to you free of charge by our generous sponsors: LUS Fiber, CBIT and LGMC. Register at http://strategichappyhour2012.eventbrite.com/.
