Lafayette woman wins $100K on lottery scratch-off

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Persistence paid off for Martha Mae Petry when she won a $100,000 top prize from the Louisiana Lottery's Cash Frenzy scratch-off game.
Petry tells The Advertiser she buys scratch-off tickets.
The 63-year-old Gueydan resident purchased her top-prize winning ticket from Marceaux's Superette on Highway 91 in Gueydan. She plans to purchase a new car with her winnings.
Cash Frenzy is a $5 game that features 15 chances to win on each ticket. The game has two top prizes remaining as of Tuesday.
