Lafayette woman dies in I-10 collision

PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - A 32-year-old Lafayette woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 in West Baton Rouge Parish.
State police say Victoria Archangel, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene Monday.
Trooper Russell G. Graham II said in a news release that Archangel was traveling east near La. Highway 415 when her SUV struck the rear of a pickup.
Graham said the SUV crossed the median and was struck on the driver's side by an 18-wheeler, causing Archangel to be ejected from the vehicle.
