Lafayette Students Pick From Trees They Planted

Students enjoying the fruits of their labor is something right in Acadiana.

Trees at Plantation Elementary were planted back in 2002.

Today students got to pick fruit from the trees.

The fruit will eventually make its way to St. Joseph's Diner and Stuller Place charities.

The trees grow oranges and satsumas.
