Lafayette Sheriff's Office Now Leading Keiosha Felix Investigation

The Lafayette Sheriff's Office is now the lead investigating agency in the disappearance of Keiosha Felix (pictured). There is still no sign of the Duson teenager who's been missing for more than four months.

If you have any information on Keiosha's whereabouts, you can call any of the following phone numbers:

Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office (337) 232-9211
Lafayette Crime Stoppers (337) 232-8477
Federal Bureau of Investigations (337) 233-2164 or (504) 816-3000
Missing and Exploited Children 1 800 843-5678

Meantime at Tuesday night's Duson council meeting, the council will discuss the employment status of Lt. Gerald Credeur.  To the dismay of Keiosha's family and friends, Credeur was taken off the Felix case for what Duson Police Chief Frank Andrew called "substandard performance."    Friends and family of Keiosha Felix plan to march to the council meeting to show their support for Lt. Credeur.  The council meeting gets started at 6:00 Tuesday night.

Of the four people arrested in connection with Keiosha's disappearance, just one remains in jail.  Leon Wilkerson Jr. is facing charges of kidnapping and rape in the case.  He has a preliminary hearing Thursday morning at the Lafayette Parish Courthouse.
