Lafayette schools TB test results

The Office of Public Health has received test results from tuberculosis testing at three Lafayette schools. More than 200 people at Lafayette High, Truman Elementary and Alice Boucher Elementary were tested in December after OPH learned of a suspected TB case at Lafayette High.
Dr. Tina Stefanski, medical director at the Acadiana Regional Office of Public Health, says her office is not investigating any other suspected cases related to this investigation. Because results are confidential, Stefanski can't say whether any teachers, faculty or students tested positive for TB. Everyone tested was notified of their results.
