Lafayette School Board approves parts of school safety package

The Lafayette Parish School Board approved parts of the school safety package. Board members gave approval to hire new assistant principals at Lafayette High, Comeaux High and Carencro High. Also, they approved school safety officers, one each at Comeaux, Acadiana, and Lafayette High Schools and two at N.P. Moss Preparatory. Carencro High will get an additional school resource officer.
