Lafayette's Newest Mardi Gras Ball-- Royalty Announced!

Lafayette, LA - January 8, 2012 -Radio stations 99.9 KTDY, 97.3 The Dawg, Hot 107.9, Planet Radio 105.1, NewsTalk KPEL 96.5, SportsRadio ESPN 1420 and Talk Radio 960am Talk Radio are proud to present the Inaugural Krewe de Bayou Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Downtown Ballroom & Bistro in Downtown Lafayette. Reigning over the evening's festivities will be King T-Boy the First-Bruce Mikells from 97.3 The Dawg and Queen Clotile the First-Tracy Wirtz of Good Morning Acadiana on KATC TV 3. This will mark the Inaugural Krewe de Bayou Mardi Gras Ball which will be a Ball that anyone can attend! There are no Krewe fees, and the ball is open to the public for anyone wishing to purchase a ticket. The theme for this first year's event will be the "Roaring 20's" and features entertainment from Lafayette favorites Nik-L-Beer and Vagabond Swing sponsored by Beads for Less. Attendants are encouraged to dress in their favorite flapper costumes or gangster garb, or just put on your perfect cocktail attire and brush off your suit and tie. Come join the party!

King T-Boy the First and Queen Cotile the First will be joined by Dukes and Duchesses including; Steve Wiley of 99.9 KTDY, Nathan Pike of NewsTalk 96.5 KPEL, Steve Peloquin of ESPN 1420 and Krista Romero of 97.3 The Dawg. Also joining the court will be the Court's Minstril, Aaron Lane of Planet Radio 105.1.
Advance general admission tickets will be made available for purchase for $30.00 at Schlotzsky's on Johnston or Pinhook, Lucky Deuces Casino in Duson and TicketFly.com.
