Lafayette Police Police Investigating Shooting of Three Juveniles

Lafayette Police are investigating a shooting that left one teenager dead. Police say the three male victims, all 15 years old, were riding in a truck at approximately 1:45am Sunday in the Canberra Subdivision. Police say for unknown reasons, a male suspect fired three shots into the vehicle. All three victims were struck. The driver immediately drove himself and the two passengers to the hospital.

One of the victims died as a result of his injury. The two other victims are listed in stable condition. Investigators continue to gather information regarding the suspect and the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
