Lafayette Police Arrested an Escaped Inmate

Lafayette Police arrested an escaped inmate from West Feliciana Parish. Roy Robert is now facing a charge of simple escape and aggravated escape. Police say he escaped from the work release program, and was caught after someone phone in a tip. Robert was picked up on University Avenue Sunday night; police say they also found drug paraphernalia on him.
