Lafayette Parish Incest Arrest

On Tuesday March 16, 2010 Juvenile Detectives with the Lafayette Parish sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Charles Lee Cormier of Lafayette for Aggravated Incest and Computer aided solicitation of a Minor.
Detectives recently received a complaint from family members of the 14 year old female victim. They stated that Cormier a relative had made inappropriate advances over the last year in person and through text messages to the victim.
After a thorough investigation detectives say they uncovered enough evidence to arrest Cormier for Aggravated Incest and Computer aided solicitation of a minor. He is presently being held at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center without bond.
