Lafayette OWI Checkpoint Results

During the course of the operation 925 vehicles passed through the checkpoint located in the 1800 block of West Pinhook Road. Of those vehicles, 12 drivers were stopped for secondary testing. A total of 4 drivers were arrested and charged with OWI. Below is a list of the individuals arrested.
1. Darrell A. Darby (20), Possession of Marijuana, Resisting an Officer, OWI
2. Bergeron, Kayla A. Bergeron (24), OWI
3. Dwayne S.Landry (51), OWI
4. Freeman, Monica Freeman (36), OWI
In addition to the above arrests, officers also made 5 addition arrests and issued 7 citations for various violations.
1. Gregory G. Fontenot (46), 2 Active Warrants
