Lafayette man represents LBA at human rights law conference in France

Warren A. Perrin of Lafayette represented the Louisiana Bar Association last month at the Caen Bar Association conference on human rights in litigation.

Perrin, as Chairman of the Francophone Section of the Louisiana Bar Association, was able to discuss with international peers in Cabourg, France, the common legal issues that encompass the advocacy for human rights across the globe.

In attendance with Perrin were Antoanella Motoc, Judge for the European Court of Human Rights (à la Cour Européenne des droits de l'homme); Gilles Straehli, Counselor for the French Supreme Court (Conseiller à la chambre criminelle de la cour de cassation); Emmanuel Pire, attorney with the Paris bar (avocat au barreau de Paris); Robert Apery, Batonier of the Caen Bar Association; Jean-Pierre Versini Campinchi, attorney with the Paris bar (avocat au barreau de Paris); Vincent Le Beguec, Director of Central Police of the Judiciary (Director centrale de la Police judiciaire); and Robert GelliPresident of the National District Attorney's Association (Procureur de la République de Nanterre, président de la conférence nationale des procureurs).
