Lafayette Man Arrested: Apparent Self Mutilation

Lafayette Police Department responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 100 block of S. Beadle Road. Apparently Joseph Bruno of Lafayette was involved in a disturbance with two females. As a result of the investigation he was arrested and apparently resisted.
The arresting officer said while transporting Bruno to the jail he began banging his head against the cage in an attempt to cause injury . It was also discovered that Bruno had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.
