Lafayette Housing Authority Held First Meeting

Three Lafayette Housing Authority board members held their first meeting since being reinstated by a judge.
Joe Dennis, Leon Simmons and John Freeman heard from auditors who drafted the unfavorable report for the housing authority.
That same report that led to most of the board members being dismissed from the board then reinstated after they sued the parish government.
The only board member not to attend was the only one left by parish president Joey Durel on the board, Donald Fuselier.
The board members voted to accept the audit.
