Lafayette Housing Authority Board members met Wednesday

Three Lafayette Housing Authority Board members met for the first time Wednesday since being reinstated. Joe Dennis, Leon Simmons and John Freeman heard from auditors who drafted the unfavorable report for the housing authority.
That report led to most of the board members being dismissed by city Parish President Joey Durel, but then reinstated by a judge. After they sued the parish government.
The only board member who didn't attend was the only one Durel left on the board, Donald Fuselier. The board members voted to accept the audit.
