Lafayette Draws Top Attendance in Day One of NCAA Regionals

After the first day of regional action across the country, the Lafayette Regional drew the most attendance out of all 16 hosting regionals.
Lafayette totaled 4,732 fans for both games on Friday with the next closest regional attendance coming in Tuscaloosa, Ala. which drew a crowd of 3,836.
The opening game between Stanfod and Baylor set a Lamson Park record with 2,104 in attendance. The record stood for just a couple hours as the Louisiana and Mississippi Valley State contest drew 2,628.
