Lafayette dentist is sponsoring a 'Candy buy-Back' program

Lafayette pediatric dentist, Dr. Troy Miller is sponsoring a 'candy buy-back' event in his office after Halloween. As many of us know, there are many drawbacks to eating excess Halloween candy besides the fact that one does not know what is in the bag.

Dr. Miller stresses that all the sugar and food coloring can be pretty scary. Not only can it make kids hyperactive and cause tooth decay, but it can cause headaches, allergies and make kids more susceptible to illness and obesity.

Halloween is a event for both the young and old and Halloween trick or treating can be a great time for all. Dr. Miller's 'Cand Buy-Back' event definitely rewards the child who is willing to part with his or her excess candy and turns trick or treating into a profitable, as well as, fun event.

Children can drop off their candy and get $1.00 per pound. The drop off days for the candy is: November 1st between 8am & 5pm, November 2nd between 8am &12pm, and November 5th-8th between 8am & 5pm at 210 Beaullieu Drive. Lafayette, LA 70508.
