Lafayette Bus Driver Cited in Wednesday Crash

Update: The bus driver was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and operating an unsafe vehicle.
Original Story: Lafayette Police tell us a bus from Fisher Early Childhood Development Center hit a home at the corner of Robley Drive and Broadmoor Boulevard. Police tell us the bus was travelling east on Robley, and a SUV was traveling north on Broadmoor. The SUV stopped, then proceeded through the intersection. Because of possible mechanical issues, the bus did not stop at the stop sign and hit the SUV. The bus then proceeded into a house. There were no kids on the bus and only minor injuries were reported.
