The orientation and registration for Lafayette Parish Adult Education's GED testing will be on April 2, 2013. All potential students planning to take the GED and past students who have taken it but have not yet passed the GED are invited. The GED orientation and registration will be offered at two locations. The first location will be at SLCC, on the side of the Ardoin building (technical college) in the butler buildings; 1101 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette. The second location will be at LeRosen Health and Wellness Center; 516 E Pinhook Rd, Lafayette. Both locations will have orientations starting at 8:30AM, 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
The GED will be changing its format in 2014. Those who would like to complete the testing before the new 2014 implementations take hold, are urged to attend the event. Recruitment of students can increase graduates which is beneficial to all members of our community.
A Social Security card and Driver's License or State ID is needed at the time of orientation. Weekly orientation and registration is also offered at the following locations: Youngsville Middle School at 4:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. And Carencro Middle School at 4:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For further information regarding the April 2nd registrations, please call 337-521-7268.
