NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The U.S. Department of Defense says a
22-year-old soldier from Louisiana has died in Iraq but not from a
combat injury.
Defense Department officials said Wednesday that Sgt. Jordan E.
Tuttle, of West Monroe, died Friday in Baghdad, Iraq, but did not
provide details of what happened. A telephone call to the Louisiana
National Guard for comment was not immediately returned.
Tuttle was a member of the 156th Army Band in Bossier City and
was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 141st Field Artillery Regiment,
256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
