Kyries Hebert Street Name and Upcoming All Star Weekend

The Acadiana All-Star Weekend will welcome Kyries Hebert, Acadiana Native, former Ragin Cajun Defensive MVP, and current NFL record holder - Was recently honored with having a street named after him.

Last week Eunice renamed Roosevelt St. as "Kyries Hebert Street". Hebert was raised on the newly named Kyries Hebert Street, just one block from Martin Luther King Blvd.
As the President and CEO of the Ky Cares Foundation, Hebert has always been passionate about children and giving back to my community. The mission of Ky Cares Foundation, is to facilitate the relentless pursuit of success in the face of adversity so that our youth may know that our circumstances do not dictate the outcome of our destination.

The foundation's largest fundraiser will happen during The Acadiana All-Star Weekend March 18, and 19, 2011. The event begins with an All-Star Kick Off Gala, to be held at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette on Friday, March 18, 2011. Additional activities continue on Saturday, March 19, 2011 include a Football, Cheer & Dance Camp, 1st Annual Celebrity Basketball Game, and a wrap up soiree at Bed in Downtown Lafayette, Louisiana. More information about the event is available at www.kycaresfoundation.com.
