Knife taken from student at Alice Boucher Elementary

An Alice Boucher Elementary School student was caught with a knife on campus this morning. "A student informed a staff member at the school that a child under the age of 10 had carried a knife onto campus in a book sack," Lafayette Police Cpl. Paul Mouton said. Administrators found the student and the 7" knife. The child is younger than 10 and was turned over to the parents.
