BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Kleinpeter Farms Dairy will open an Acadiana distribution site.
The company says the three-acre site at the Lafayette Regional Industrial Park will include a small office area and space for 10 delivery trucks to park and connect to electrical outlets for overnight storage.
The Advocate reported Wednesday that Jeff Kleinpeter, president of the Baton Rouge-based dairy, said the company had been renting property in the area but it's now "time to give my team a place to call home."
Construction will begin in May and marks Kleinpeter's steady expansion into other markets in south Louisiana.
