Kergan murder case continued to February

The case against a Baton Rouge woman accused of killing a Crowley businessman as been continued to next year.

Leila Mulla was scheduled to be in court today for a hearing on her first-degree murder charge. However, a Baton Rouge district judge pushed the court date back to February 5.

Mulla entered a not guilty plea earlier this year in the 1984 disappearance and death of Gary Kergan. Ronald Dunnigan of Bossier City was also charged with murder in Kergan's death.
