KENTWOOD, La. (AP) - Deputies have arrested and booked a Kentwood man with second-degree murder after he allegedly shot another man in a child-custody dispute.
Tangipahoa Parish sheriff's deputies tell The Advocate 63-year-old bobby Dunaway has been arrested in the fatal shooting of 33-year-old Carlton Wells of Amite.
Deputies say Wells showed up at a house in Kentwood Sunday looking for a minor child.
After an argument, Wells entered the home, where Dunaway allegedly shot him in the chest.
Wells was pronounced dead at the scene.
