NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Louisiana Supreme Court says a Jefferson Parish attorney is the new chairman of the Louisiana Judiciary Commission, and a judge from Ouachita Parish is the new vice-chair.
It says William "Bill" W. Hall succeeds Carol R. LeBlanc of Lafourche Parish as chairman. Hall is an attorney in private practice in Jefferson Parish.
The high court says 4th Judicial District Judge Sharon I. Marchman has been elected vice-chair, succeeding Hall. Marchman presides over juvenile court and adult drug and DWI courts for Morehouse and Ouachita Parishes.
