Judge Denies LCG's Motion to Dismiss Annexation Case

A district court judge has dismissed Lafayette Consolidated Government's request to dismiss Broussard's annexation lawsuit. Judge Durwood Conque denied the motion for a summary judgment against Broussard today following a week-long recess. The suit, which was filed in May 2010 by Broussard, revolves around land along the Ambassador Caffery Extension that would connect Lafayette Vieux Chêne Golf Course to the rest of the city.
