From getting over his fear of flying to adjusting to L.A.'s fast-paced lifestyle, Joshua Ledet still can't believe he's a top three finalist on American Idol.
"The private jet is so tiny. We were on this plane with like 15 people and im like I can't do that," Ledet said. "Here in Louisiana everybody is so slow and the cars go about 60 in L.A. they go like 120."
Ledet has come a long way since being eliminated last season. He spent a year practicing and preparing for Season 11.
"I looked at Youtube videos almost every night just watching Hollywood Week," says Ledet.
His most memorable moment it moving into the 10 bedroom, 16 bath mansion with the fellow Idol contestants.
"Colton was my roommate. He's like a grandma he goes to sleep at like 7," said Ledet.
Joshua said the hardest moment has been saying goodbye to fellow contestant Hollie when she was eliminated last week.
"We had so much in common. When I was upset about something she was there to pick me up." Ledet said. "Holly is the most amazing person I've ever met. You don't get to see everything that goes on behind the scenes. We actually want our friends to win. That's how much we love each other"
Joshua keeps impressing the judges week after week, but what are the judges like off camera?
Ledet said, "They're like our guardians. They really take us under their wings."
