NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The next chief justice of Louisiana's Supreme Court, Bernette Johnson, will deliver the keynote address for a Loyola University symposium.
Friday's symposium at Loyola in New Orleans focuses on race in higher education. It's hosted by Loyola University's College of Law and the Journal of Public Interest Law.
The university says that the symposium will explore issues of equal protection under the law and diversity. It takes place as the U.S. Supreme court considers the constitutionality of race in college admissions.
