Parish President Joey Durel can be seen on GMA every Thursday around 6:40am to answer your questions. This week Joey Durel answered the following questions:

When will the roads in Lafayette Parish be fixed?

Landry Rd. from Dulles to S. Fieldspan is bad, you actually have to drive on the left side to miss holes:

Answer: Landry Road will be reconstructed with wider travel lanes and provision of shoulders . Right of Way acquisition is currently underway and construction is projected to begin in the Spring of 2012.

Fieldspan Road:

Answer: The north Fieldspan project began milling the roadway Sept. 30. This is a forty day contract. The south Fieldspan project is scheduled to start on October 18. This is a forty five day contract.
