BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal is traveling to New York to meet with his fellow Republican governors, after a stop in New Hampshire to stump for a GOP gubernatorial candidate.
Jindal's office says the governor was in New Hampshire on Thursday to attend a campaign event and fundraiser for John Stephen's campaign for governor.
Jindal then headed to New York City for two days of meetings with the Republican Governors Association. While there, the governor was fitting in a fundraiser for his re-election campaign.
The trips come a day after Jindal was in Florida to campaign for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio.
The governor's been a frequent traveler during the fall campaign season, stumping for GOP candidates and attending Republican fundraisers in Missouri, California, Minnesota and Georgia.
