Jennings Woman Comes Home To Find Gas Line Cut

A Jennings woman has a close call after coming home to a severed gas line with her stove lighter turned on.

Tonight, her ex-husband is in jail, charged with attempted aggravated arson and burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Jennings police say, 47-year old Mark Anthony Spitzer admitted to breaking into the house on North Louise Street and cutting the heater's gas line to make the home burn.

He was out of jail on bond for stalking his ex-wife and violating a restraining order.
