Jennings man arrested on warrant, possession of pot

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Warrants division made an apprehension Tuesday on an outstanding warrant.
Skyler Authement, 21, of Jennings was arrested on Bench Warrant for Contempt of Court. During the arrest and pat down, Authement advised deputies he had marijuana in his pants pocket. According to authorities, deputies discovered a baggy of green leafy material believed to be marijuana and a smoking pipe.
Authement was transported and booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. Authement was charged with Possession of CDS I Marijuana 2nd offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
