Jennings Man Arrested for Simple Burglary

A Jennings man is arrested, charged with Simple Burglary. Jeff Davis deputies responded to a call on Empire Road in Jennings after a complaint about items stolen from property as well as damage to the property. Deputies made an offense report and itemized list of the property taken. Later in the shift it was discovered that the items reported stolen were located in a truck bed that was parked in a parking lot in Jennings. Deputies recovered the stolen items and made one arrest, Stephen Guidry, 27 years old, of Jennings. Guidry was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. The items recovered were identified by the victim and returned to him.
