Jennings man accused of parole violation

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's office received an anonymous tip that led led to an arrest of a Jennings sex offender.

On Friday, February 22, 2013, the JDShO opened an investigation after receiving an anonymous tip that Glen Adams Sr., 60, of 318 North Craig, Jennings, a convicted sex offender, had a child living at his residence.

Adams was arrested on failure to register and notify charge, for failing to provide information that a mother and her child had moved in with Adams 6 months ago.

Adams was also charged with parole violation. As a part of his parole guidelines, Adams is not allowed to reside with a juvenile.

When detectives arrived at his residence, a 4-year-old juvenile was located inside the residence. It was later learned that the juvenile and his mother had been living there for 6 months to a year.

Adams was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail with no bond and a Parole Hold.
