Jefferson suspect captured after escape

GRETNA, La. (AP) - An armed robbery suspect who escaped from an interview room at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has been captured.
The Sheriff's Office said Friday that 24-year-old Harry Mitchell was arrested in New Orleans on Thursday by a U.S. Marshals task force.
Mitchell had been left alone in an interview room in Harvey on Tuesday morning. Around 8 a.m., investigators returned to the room to find that he had escaped - leaving behind handcuffs with one cuff still attached to a metal floor plate.
