Now you can text message, Tweet and Facebook your way through Festival International. The latest technology is bringing this year's Festival to a whole new level.
With a touch of an iphone or click of a computer mouse, festival goers can find out everything about the events.
The new iPhone application and the online planner are free to anyone who wants to plan.
"I was so excited, I looked like a child when they told me, immediately I uploaded to the phone, it's perfect," says Fumilayo Rita, who has gone to Festival for eight years.
Both new features offer information on performers including biographies and links to their music.
They feature links to social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter.
Both show maps and what is showing at each of the 6 stages at each time.
The planner lets you make your own schedule to print or share with friends, and the iPhone app lets you take that schedule and learn more as you go.
Festival organizers say this is only the beginning:
"In the future, for Blackberry or droid users there could be an app too," says Marketing Coordinator Adrienne Stewart.
