Iota Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A crash involving two motorcycles on LA 91 near Regan Road in Acadia Parish Saturday night claimed the life of an Iota man. According to Louisiana State Police, 50 year old Joseph Miller, of Iota, was travelling north on LA 91, next to another motorcycle and while negotiating a right curve, the two collided and crashed. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second motorcycle, 53 year old Joseph Reed was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. Reed was later arrested for DWI 1st offense. The crash remains under investigation.
