KENTWOOD, La. (AP) - Louisiana and federal investigators have arrested three men and recovered more than $30,000 worth of drugs.
Tangipahoa Parish sheriff's deputies say U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Hammond police joined deputies in arresting 27-year-old Christien Scott of Greensburg; 27-year-old Tullie Whitten III of Greenwell Springs, and 27-year-old James Self of Greensburg.
Deputies say officers recovered 15 pounds of marijuana and 115 grams of crack cocaine.
All three were booked into the Hammond Police Department Jail to await transfer to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, where they will be held pending prosecution on federal charges.
It was not immediately known whether the suspects have attorneys.
