HOUMA, La. (AP) - A special investigator has concluded that a sexual harassment allegation against acting Houma Police Chief Todd Duplantis was not warranted.
Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government has chosen not to take any action against Duplantis. The parish ordered the investigation.
A complaint to the federal Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission was filed, but its status is not known. The initial complaint against Duplantis was made by a female
government employee shortly after a settlement was reached between female parish employees, the parish and former chief Pat Boudreaux.
Boudreaux took a medical leave. Duplantis has served as acting chief for nearly a year.
